What data the extension stores

Markdown Pro stores the following locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local. This data never leaves your computer:

You can remove all of this at any time by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling the extension.

Your documents

Markdown content you open, paste, or edit is processed entirely within your browser to render the preview. Your documents are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. Rendering, editing, syntax highlighting, and diagram generation all happen locally using libraries bundled inside the extension.

Network activity

After installation, Markdown Pro does not make network requests to operate its core features. The single exception is payment and subscription management:
