Frequently asked questions

SnapVault Pro can't capture this page — why? Chrome blocks extensions from running on its own internal pages (chrome://, edge://, about:, the Chrome Web Store itself). Try the extension on any regular website.

Where are my screenshots stored? Locally on your device, in Chrome's encrypted local storage. They never go to our servers. If you've connected Google Drive, Notion, or Dropbox, captures you click Save to Cloud on are uploaded directly to your own account in a folder called "SnapVault".

I connected Google Drive but uploads fail. Open the SnapVault Pro popup → Settings → click Disconnect next to Google Drive, then Connect again. Make sure to grant the "see, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app" permission when prompted.

The capture is missing parts of the page. This can happen with pages that lazy-load content as you scroll. Scroll to the bottom of the page once before capturing — that triggers the lazy loaders. If it still happens, email support with the URL and a screenshot.

How do I upgrade to Pro? Click the "Start Free Trial" button anywhere in the popup or preview tab. You'll be routed to our secure payment page (handled by ExtensionPay + Stripe). 7-day free trial, no credit card required to start.

How do I cancel my subscription? Open the SnapVault Pro popup → Settings → Manage subscription. You'll be taken to the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel anytime. Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
